Geek deals: $134.99 gets you a Galaxy Nexus on Sprint

Sprint Galaxy Nexus

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus finally made the move to Sprint just two days ago. For Sprint customers looking to upgrade or people looking to make the leap from another carrier, here’s your chance!

While the Nexus is admittedly a marvel of smartphone tech, there are a few carrier-centric problems. You can’t even take advantage of the 4G LTE capabilities on the Nexus — Sprint still hasn’t finished building its 4G network. However, it’s supposed to roll out next year in several big US cities. You may want to pass over this deal if you don’t live in a major metropolis, as you’ll be out of luck for some time, though the GNex is still an excellent phone.

LogicBuy found the lowest existing price on the Sprint Nexus currently available. For $139.99, you’ll get an extra $65 off than what Sprint’s offering, plus an additional $50 in Google Wallet credits. Google Wallet uses built-in NFC chip, making the GNex one of the first phones to feature the built-in mobile payment hardware and a system with which to use it.

The Nexus comes with all the top-grade internal goodies we’ve come to expect from new Samsung phones: the Super AMOLED screen (4.3-inch), next-gen Hummingbird processor, GPS, front and rear facing cameras, and yes, 4G LTE (stand by for a network by you!). This phone also comes with full flash support and a large 16GB bank of internal memory.

The Nexus is still cheaper through Verizon — by $50, actually — but if you’re dedicated Sprint customer, you won’t find a deal on a new Samsung phone better than this.
