During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) that was held the current year, the Chinese manufacturer had asserted that the Ascend D quad was the fastest smartphone, and that it would be their flagship gadget. They said that it would find the company taking on companies like Apple and Samsung with their iPhone and Galaxy S III respectively.
As to the question by Pocket-lint, regarding whether the UK could hope to avail of the Huawei D quad, the answer was positive and the company confirmed that they would have news of its release some time in the latter part of the current year.
Though claims that it would be the fasted smartphone in the world could wait till people could relay experience the claim, the D quad quite definitely was imposing concerning speeds at the MWC, and the graceful design of the smartphone made people yearn for some more time to get to know it.
