LG has announced its pan of introducing its Optimus 4X HD in Western Europe next month.
The quad-core phone running on Android Ice cream Sandwich does have a 4.7 inch True HD IPS display.
The most notable feature of the phone is its biggest battery among the quad-core smartphones.
LG claimed that the phone’s Media Plex feature can zoom into and out of a video programme while playing back. In addition it has a User Experience application which allows users to have notes over any screen image, which can be saved and then shared with friends.
Jong-Seok Park of LG informed that the phone with the fast processor, wonderful display and largest battery is the first of its kind by the company to feature User Experience. With the rapid consolidation of the smartphone segment, software and hardware are decisive for the phone to stay on top. The fact that LG is strong in both is proved in the new phone.
After Europe, the phone will surface in Asia, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) South America and Central America in the following months.
Incidentally, LG Mobile has signed up a dealership deal with ITV2 for its reality show The Exclusive. The sponsorship will be for mobile and online broadcast and will support the introduction of the mobile handsets of the L series.
