Launched recently, the MVNO Ovivo Mobile is giving cut price tariffs to its customers. Vodafone MVNA Cognatel supports SIM-only, prepaid MVNO. Customers who subscribe for the service needs to pay £20 fee that would offer £15 credit for 100 free minutes and texts per month on any network, anytime. Besides, they would receive 10MB of data everyday for Smart phones users and 15MB for tablets users. Otherwise, the customer will have to pay 6p per minute, per text and per MB.


Dariush Zand, CEO of Ovivo Mobile said that they can use mobile advertising revenue to offer competitive prices to the customers. He describes this as a compelling value proposition. Through music events, 2012 Olympics and Fresher Weeks at Universities, the company tries to market the offerings to the students. Customers could encourage friends and family to sign up for the service in return for several competitions, free usage, free and cut price phone deals.


By agreeing to receive like-minded advertisements Ovivo Mobile customers can take advantage of free service. To provide better experience customers will not be tied to long-term contracts or monthly commitments. Tight control of the quantity and duration of the advertisements will help customers enjoy better experience. The move made by Ovivo Mobile will reduce the gap between advertisers and consumers.
