The chat application called Viber seems to be in the run against What’s App, Skype and many others applications that are used for cross-platform communications.

Viber can already be availed of on the Android and iOS and will soon be available in Beta version on the Windows Phone and the BlackBerry.

This app that was being utilized by over 70 million users allowed the user to chat over a variety of phone interfaces, permitting transmission of text messages, images and calls absolutely free of cost. This was the way in which it functioned on both the iOS and Android phones, because calls were yet to be enabled on the latest editions. As to when this feature would take to arrive was yet to be confirmed by Viber.

Viber Founder and CEO, Mr. Talmon Marco stated that they are of the opinion that when users were linked to the Internet they should encounter free and excellent quality experience and Viber attempted to make this possible for people making use of any model of mobile phones to stay in touch with one another.

He said that the Android version of Viber was appraised by them the previous year and they had found that it was a very handy and simple to use application and the inclusion of additional interfaces by which people would be able to stay in touch only helped to increase its usefulness.
